Why Dash

One tube, no frame

The LED tube is the lamp’s structure. The shade grips it by friction alone – no frame, no screws, no glue. That’s why Dash weighs only 707 grams. Patent pending.

Light down, color around

45° of direct, warm white light (3000 K, 1620 lm) for the table below. 315° of diffused pinks for the rest of the room. Non-blinding.

Outlives its tube

The LED tube is rated for 30.000 hours – four hours a day for 20 years. When it fails, swap in a standard tube, or send Dash to us and we’ll do it for €50 + shipping.

Ceiling, wall or floor

Ceiling: hung on two steel wires, Dash lights the full length of a dining or work table.

Wall: vertical, horizontal, or any angle you fancy.

Floor: stand it in a corner or against a wall as a free-standing dash of light.¹

Questions

Which color should I choose?

All five are the same creamy white when off – they only differ when lit. Flesh glows in soft pinks. Compare all five on the front page.

What happens when the LED tube dies?

Swap in a standard replacement tube – it takes some patience, but is entirely doable. Or send Dash to us and we’ll do it for €50 + shipping.

How is it mounted?

Everything is in the box. For the ceiling: 5 m of stainless steel wire, two ceiling mounts, cable clips, screws and dowels. For the wall: two wall mounts, screws and dowels. Power comes through the 4 m cable with an ordinary EU plug.

What if I don’t like it?

Return it within 30 days of delivery and we’ll refund you. We pay for the return shipping and charge no fees. Write to [email protected] first.

What does the guarantee cover?

Three years of free repairs covering all defects, including the LED tube, not covering mishandling or accidents. This does not affect your two-year right to complain about defects under Danish law.

What happens to it in the end?

Dash comes apart without tools, so every part can be replaced or recycled. If ABS isn’t recycled where you live, we’ll recycle it for you at no charge – write to us for a free shipping label.
